One Bag Down...

I just finished the smaller of the two box bags I'm making for my younger sister. In the excitement of making it, I realized that I forgot to put the handle in before sewing the top corners of the bag shut. Needless to say, I improvised. I decided to add an 'afterthought' handle & add a wooden button. This way, sissy can add it to the handle of her daughter's stroller and knit in the park. I guess I was accidentally clever. I hope she likes it.

I definitely appreciate that you're experimenting new ideas on gifts for me. I can't wait to see the bag in person and haul my knitting around in it!

I LOVE that idea. I'll have to try that for gifts for my younger friends. (Yes, once you reach a certain age, only 'younger' friends have strollers, etc) (OOOOOOH, that's sad!)

Gorgeous box bags, and thanks for the hat tip!
