Finished Poppy

close up of collar
pre blocking...lays a bit wonky front back

Here is the finished poppy sweater that I was writing about. It knit up really fast. I wanted to use some yarn I have had in my stash for years. You know the gigantic balls of yarn you can get that are for baby blankets. This used up less than 1/3 of a ball. Soft, but I wouldn't buy the yarn specifically for this pattern. Beauty is, it is the same guage as the yarn the pattern calls for. I hope it fits the intended wearer.

It's just darling! I really like the color too. What a sweet little pattern. You did a good job. Isn't it nice how quickly sweaters for little people knit up?

That is a bonus. Is it wrong that the one thing that makes me want to lose weight is the $$$ savings I will have when buying yarn for patterns for myself. I guess that shows the level of my addiction.

Better a yarn/knitting addiction!

I have completed the back of the little boy sweater in "our" book. The front is moving along beautifully... it look really good too! I can hardly wait for you and Noah to see it. Let me see another one of your projects soon.
