Here it is, finally finished. I had the hubby put it on because it looked better on him than me. I know, all of that work and it doesn't look as good as I had hoped. I won't get rid of it, we'll see if I like it more when it gets cold. Nice first project. Next, I'm working on a chain link scarf. Should be neat. I'm not holding my breath...

Sweater is Finally Finished!

Our Newest Addition!
Yesterday we welcomed the newest addition to our family. A black goldfish named...you guessed it, Dorothy. As you can see, the water is a tad on the cloudy side. That is because when NC woke up this morning, he asked Dorothy if she was hungry and she said yes! That's right, a talking goldfish. :)
Needless to say, instead of waking up his dear mother and father, NC took it upon himself to feed "Our little girl". Thus explaining the cloudy water. (Note to all PETA members, we are changing the water so back off!)

A day at the "Castle"

We spend a day in the mountains in CA. We went to see a "castle" and ate lunch at an old stagecoach stop. We also saw the painted caves. Lil sis and I also saw the wo-man made "yellow falls". I will not be explaining it to those of you who weren't there.
Here we are lunching.

Life's a Beach...
The little guy has never been to the beach...this is his first time. He LOVED it. When we got home (east coast) he said, "I have an idea, maybe tomorrow we can fly on a plane and go to the beach with M & M!"
