What do you think of this for our stereo & TV stuff? It would go below the tv in the living room. Does it 'go' with the rest of our stuff? I'm sick of dust on everything electronic. Thoughts? Honestly....
Here's a picture of where I'm wanting it. Right now, we're re-purposing the coffee table to make due.

Advice Please
With the pending arrival of a new one on the way, I'm in need of advice. Due to storage constraints in the home we live in, we got rid of all of the baby furniture we used when our almost 8yr old outgrew it.
Now I'm starting from scratch, again. This time, I'm looking for advice for furniture items that will look good, last, and could possibly have multiple functions.
Ideas, links, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Jump Rope for Heart
The little guy is raising funds for Jump Rope for Heart. A cause that is close to our hearts, especially with the recent heart attack my Father-in-Law had.
If you would like to donate and help him raise funds for the cause, click here. Thank you for your support!

Funny things I've been told...
My son has been saying some pretty funny stuff lately. Not intentionally mind you, rather, he's switched some words. Example:
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of a Basket
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phonics
and
The queen in Star Wars is names, "Queen Alabama."
All things I would love to see!

Lloyd Christmas Update (Part Deux)
I ran into the little guy's teacher while leaving school yesterday. We discussed his knack for running into things. I was told he hit the file cabinet so hard, it dented the cabinet and left "tooth dust" on it as well.
Naturally, being the mom that I am, requested a picture be taken and sent to me immediately. I will post as soon as it's received.
These are the moments we treasure!

Lloyd Christmas Update
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. The little guy now has a FULL SET of front teeth! I was able to get him to the dentist early the next morning and they fixed him up as good as new. After bragging about his brilliance to pretty much everyone I know I found out that this is not as rare as I thought it was. Huh! This whole time I thought my kid was super unique in his 'tooth breaking' abilities. I'm sure he shine in some other area yet to be discovered and probably more expensive. We'll just call this "Chapter I" for those of you making a scrapbook about this.

Are you kidding me?!?
Got a call from the kid's school this afternoon. Apparently my little one wasn't paying too close of attention to matters at hand. Ladies and gents, I give you Lloyd Christmas....

What to do on a snow day?
I am the luckiest girl ever! My hubby is a teacher (as am I) who loves to cook. What do you get when you have 1 snow day + 1 hubby that likes to cook? Give up?
